SkatterSketch

SkatterSketch is a 3-player "uncooperative" drawing game inspired by the popular party game Exquisite Corpse.

Made in Processing for UA Game Dev's Fall 2018 Game Jam (theme: "Slightly off").

Requires an installation of Processing to run.

How to Play

The game uses the same general rules as Exquisite Corpse, where players must contribute to a drawing while only seeing a portion of what was drawn before.

In SkatterSketch, the dotted line represents where your drawing will be cutoff, and where the next player's drawing will begin.

1. Decide the playing order - choose which player will play first, second, and third.
2. Decide on a theme - Click the New Theme button until you get a theme you like, or determine a theme yourself.
3. Player 1 draws - Player 2 and Player 3 cover their eyes or look away while Player 1 draws the first part of the image. When Player 1 has finished drawing, click the Confirm button.
4. Player 2 draws - Player 3 continues to look away while Player 2 draws the next part of the image and clicks Confirm.
5. Player 3 draws - Player 3 draws the last part of the image and clicks Confirm to reveal the complete image.
6. Play it again - click the New Game button to start over.

Press 's' on the keyboard to take a screenshot of your completed game. Your screenshot will be placed in the SkatterSketch folder as "drawing.jpg" - make sure to rename it so it isn't overwritten. The folder includes some example screenshots of completed games that were played at the game jam.
